DARKNESS WAS ON THE LAND AND BLOTTED OUT THE SUN Great ships plied faster and more frequently between lands, carrying divers cargo. Yet because each land dispatching them wanted to sell to get profits for merchants, but not buy, they sought to prevent full ships returning. And those lands which wanted imports but not pay for them, contrived spurious excuses for not paying. Consequently, lands of plenty had no money with which to buy, their people went hungry for want of trade exchange and the money changers thrived on conjuring even more counterfeit, lending it out, charging interest, demanding pounds of flesh, causing inflation and taxation. When hunger and poverty stalked many lands, while elite in others lavished in luxury, the leaders of the money changers, realizing there was nothing more to take, called their cabal together to beguile and issue solace to the poor countries by saying “Your leaders have failed you, and can no longer be trusted. Place your faith in us and between us we will form an inner executive called the Great Eight, and a high council full of compliance called the World Trade Organization. Then, if you will give us your deeds and your obedience, we will govern all as if they are one. We will maintain you, make your decisions for you and educate your children to our mold. Our direction will guide your footsteps; and of the power and glory of our dominion there shall be no end.” Thus the people were very troubled and knew not which way to turn. For they saw their troubles had begun with the acceptance of Lucifer’s moneychanger fiat – yet they shunned any who wanted to show them another way. Then one of the peoples’ older and wiser elders, who had known of the better times before, strived to find a way of reaching their attention. He failed, until when, within one hour, the towers of gold that symbolized the moneychangers, but which had been built on feet of clay, had been toppled. Not as an Act of God, but as an act of enmity, revenge and slaughter by a different, zealot agent of Lucifer. Civil war in hell on earth. As they disputed, a child from Sunday school ventured on the scene in the hope of seeing all the gold and jewels of great price that the money changers boasted were the wealth behind their electronic ciphers and printing press money. But seeing nothing but sand, turned to the elder and said in a loud voice, “We have, again, been worshipping false gods.” The people then turned to look for themselves and found it to be just what the child had said. The elder raised his voice and said, “We must return to our God whom we have forsaken. He is a very present help in trouble. His laws will put our path straight and heal our land.” His guidance has been given to our Constitution, which the money mongers stole many years ago. Let us resolve so to do. And the people returned to their homes, their eyes opened to the abundance and beauty their God had provided. And they worshipped him. And returned to obey God’s Ten Commandments. They cast away the false laws of the moneychangers. Days of tribulation were shortened. Darkness was lifted from the land. And the sun did shine again.
